International Exchange and Cooperation

Since 2001, NTUNHS has established “Go Global: Nurturing World-Class Healthcare Professionals” as the school’s guiding principle for promoting international and cross-strait cooperation and development.

In promoting the school’s internationalization efforts, the university has developed five major goals for internationalization:

Through the formulation of these five major goals, the university actively signs cooperation agreements with international higher education institutions, creating a number of forward-looking international cooperation models in Taiwan, including the International Nursing Dual Bachelor’s Degree Program, the International Early Childhood Education Dual Master’s Degree Program, the International Health Management Dual Degree Program, the International Information Management Dual Bachelor’s Degree Program, the International Exercise and Health Science Bachelor’s Dual Degree Program, and the all-English taught International Nursing and Midwifery Master’s Program, the International Nursing Doctoral Program, the International Montessori Master’s Program, the International Health Technology Master’s Program, and the International Exercise Science Master’s Program.

At the same time, the university cooperates with more than 30 academic or professional institutions abroad to offer international professional courses/international internship courses/exchange study courses/overseas professional volunteer services/international professional certification training and other international practical learning courses, establishing channels for cultivating students’ international professional abilities. Introduction

International Cooperation and Exchange

The university selects students to study abroad through programs such as “Study Abroad Dreaming,” “Study Abroad Flying,” and “Study Abroad Cherishing.” In view of the changing global economy and the trend of internationalization, the university has been actively moving towards the goal of internationalization in recent years. Based on its existing advantages, it promotes international academic exchanges in related departments, actively negotiates cooperative alliances with international academic institutions, and accelerates the pace of internationalization through the exchange of professors and students, the establishment of dual degree programs with foreign universities, the recruitment of international masters and scholars, the sharing of educational resources, and the organization of international seminars.

In addition, the school also provides all-English taught international programs, participates in the preparation of international education exhibitions, and provides an internationalized learning environment through related international cooperation programs, encouraging and subsidizing students to participate in international competitions, accumulate valuable experience, and enhance students’ international competitiveness. One is a seven-story student dormitory with one floor underground, and the new dormitory was completed in October 2022; the other is a nine-story student dormitory with one floor underground, which is expected to be completed in September 2024.

The dormitory is equipped with hardware facilities such as a learning resource center and a fitness experience center; in addition, the existing three dormitories and some floor spaces are built into accommodation clusters with specific attributes, including multimedia production groups, innovation and entrepreneurship groups, volunteer service groups, maker communities, and international culture groups.
