Introduction
Teaching quality and academic prestige
Yuanpei University of Medical Technology has the most comprehensive medical and healthcare welfare, health, and industry management-related departments in Taiwan. Its educational goal is to cultivate talents needed by the medical and health industry, closely aligning with the future manpower needs of an aging society. In the corporate survey of favorite university talents, it ranks among the top in life sciences, bioresources, and medical and health categories in public and private universities. The graduate employment rate reaches 3 months at 80% and within one year reaches 90%. Students who enter Yuanpei are equipped with employment competitiveness.
Our university has developed from the first medical technology vocational school in Taiwan into a professional university of science, technology, and management in the Greater Health industry, providing students with the learning and preparation needed for employment. The development strategy focuses on international integrated research and interdisciplinary industry-academia collaboration, actively participating in global community development activities to become an outstanding and innovative international university.
Industry-Academia Cooperation
Our university lists internship courses as compulsory courses for each department and has signed industry-academia cooperation and strategic alliances with many public and private institutions in Taiwan, major hospitals throughout Taiwan, and biomedical health industry manufacturers. Currently, the school has more than 700 strategic alliances with enterprises and health education cooperation manufacturers, which is the largest number of students in Taiwan who have signed contracts with biomedical-related companies. Our school also arranges students to conduct practical workshops in the industry for four weeks to five months, laying the technical foundation for practical abilities.
International Exchange
Our school selects and subsidizes students every year to go to high-quality universities, including HTMi Hotel and Tourism Management School in Switzerland, Berlin University of Applied Sciences in Germany, International University of Health and Welfare in Japan, Saga University in Japan, Southern Illinois University in the United States, Ohio University in the United States, and Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, for professional internships and language learning to enhance their international perspective and increase their international employability.
