Yuan Ze University

Yuan Ze University is a private university founded in 1989 by the Far Eastern Group, a large enterprise spanning 10 major industries with 10 listed companies and nearly 250 subsidiaries.

The university cooperates with the Far Eastern Group on industry-academia internship and talent training programs, providing Yuan Ze students with domestic and international internship opportunities to broaden their career planning. To cultivate digital interdisciplinary talents that meet the trends of the times, the university promotes “New Bilingualism”; programming languages are required for undergraduates, and English bachelor programs are available in the five colleges of Engineering, Informatics, Management, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Electrical and Communication Engineering.

Nearly 10% of the students are international students from over 50 countries around the world, forming a multicultural international campus with an innovative and harmonious campus atmosphere.

Overseas Learning Exchange and Off-site Teaching
The university promotes learning activities such as international exchange student programs, dual degree programs, and professional internship programs. There are also short-term study and visit exchange activities every semester, aiming to cultivate students’ international perspective and strengthen their international mobility. Off-site teaching extends the classroom to foreign countries, cooperating with well-known foreign universities, visiting local well-known enterprises, experiencing foreign school teaching methods, increasing understanding of foreign cultures, and enhancing students’ international competitiveness to connect with the world.

Leading the Implementation of Diversified Domestic and International Professional Internships
In order to strengthen industry-academia bridging and cultivate talents who combine learning and application, the university took the lead in implementing a student professional internship system, and continues to revise it into a diversified professional internship system in accordance with the characteristics of the departments. In recent years, it has actively expanded overseas internship opportunities, expanding students’ internship fields to foreign countries and mainland China, and cooperating with well-known multinational companies in the United States, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and mainland China.

Starting from the second semester, students with excellent academic performance in the previous semester can receive a 100% tuition subsidy.
