A total of 25 spin-off startup companies have been established, covering technological fields such as novel cancer drug development, precision diagnostics, biomedical devices, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and health food products. With the completion of the TMU Shuang Ho Bio-Cluster, it has become the only biomedical park in Taiwan that integrates a university, hospitals, and the biomedical industry into a “trinity” model. The campus also incorporates Taiwan’s first-ever biomedical accelerator. In the future, in addition to cultivating outstanding biomedical professionals, it will further advance cutting-edge translational medicine research and accelerate biomedical industry–academia incubation, with the vision of building Taiwan’s own biomedical Silicon Valley.
Overseas Study Opportunities
Provides a wide range of overseas exchange programs in various countries, with opportunities to receive scholarships and financial support from both on-campus and off-campus sources. Students may also apply for dual-degree programs, allowing them to obtain both bachelor’s and master’s degrees within a shorter period of time.
