The All-English Bachelor’s Program in the Department of Information Engineering, the All-English Bachelor’s Program in the Department of Business Administration, the All-English Bachelor’s Program in the Department of English, the All-English Bachelor’s Program in the Department of International Tourism Management, and the All-English Bachelor’s Program in the Department of Global Political Economics aim to promote Tamkang’s unique culture and continue to create the school’s pioneering characteristics in the country. With the aim of “All-English Teaching, All-Junior Year Abroad, and All-Residential College,” we plan and implement the holistic development courses, study abroad counseling, and all-residential college activities of the Three-Pronged Education Bachelor’s Program to achieve the goal of cultivating high-quality professionals with international competitiveness, social participation, and interpersonal interaction.
Through the All-Junior Year Abroad program, we assist students in expanding their international horizons and enriching their international learning experiences. Through all-English teaching and counseling mechanisms, we strengthen students’ English proficiency, which helps improve their international language communication skills, smoothly connect to their junior year abroad, and lay the foundation for internationalization. Through the planning of all-residential college courses and activities, we promote the practice of localized internationalization, cultivate students’ self-directed learning and interdisciplinary thinking, and actively engage in social participation to promote holistic development.
Club Learning and Practical Courses
By “guiding introductory courses,” students enhance their basic understanding of club activities. Through “activity participation and execution,” they establish club values and learn seven major skills in the process of participating in activities: positive thinking, innovation and creativity, communication and expression, interpersonal relationships, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, cultivating their competitiveness for future entry into the workplace. This course is required and consists of three parts:
A. Introductory Courses
Planning courses such as self-awareness, team formation, activity brainstorming, practical planning, presentation of results, problem-solving, and communication. Experts and industry professionals with club experience and related backgrounds are invited to guide students to have a basic understanding of participating in clubs.
B. Activity Participation
Through club experiences and diverse activities, students develop creative thinking and cultivate critical thinking skills.
C. Activity Execution
Through planning and organizing club activities, students demonstrate teamwork and cultivate problem-solving skills.

Outstanding Internationalization Achievements
Tamkang has long been deeply involved in internationalization and has laid a solid foundation. In 2015, it won the “Special Excellence Award for Internationalization Quality Inspection of Universities and Colleges from the Ministry of Education” and is a model university for internationalization. Accumulated achievements include: establishing 45 countries and 285 sister schools; signing 9 countries and 29 schools with 45 transnational dual degree programs; and being an internationalized campus with approximately 1,500 international students.
Tamkang is committed to cultivating students to become world citizens with international competitiveness. The “Junior Year Abroad Program,” the first of its kind in the country, has been promoted since 1994, and has cumulatively sent 9,516 students to study abroad. Each year, junior students are selected to study at well-known universities in Europe, America, Australia, Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, and mainland China. We also cooperate with sister schools on exchange student programs, transnational dual degree programs, and transnational distance learning courses to provide students with diverse overseas mobile learning programs.
