Introduction


Practice-oriented teaching model

O.C.U. has been deeply involved in technical and vocational education for 59 years, adhering to the school motto of “Honesty and Trustworthiness”, teaching students to take “integrity” as the foundation of conducting and doing things, and promoting flexible bilingual courses to cultivate students’ ability to easily master English communication, implement the development of bilingual campuses, and achieve the goal of employment upon graduation through employment-oriented customized modules and off-campus internships. The school’s performance has been recognized by students, parents and social enterprises.

O.C.U. is the only college in the country with all kinds of innovative catering and teaching equipment concentrated on the same floor, and its professional and perfect planning has been recognized by the Ministry of Labor. At the same time, it has won the Ministry of Education’s plan to optimize technical and vocational schools, and established the “E-sports and Game Industry Elite Training Base” and “Smart Retail Business Service Center” to continue to create a high-quality learning environment for cultivating professional skills.

From the four aspects of “cross-domain learning ability improvement”, “professional practice and technical ability promotion”, “industry-teacher practice joint teaching” and “employment-oriented course module”, O.C.U. promotes student employment and off-campus internship courses through annual campus recruitment activities, establishes a cross-field practical learning ecosystem, and cultivates students with social care and cross-domain practical skills. The retention rate of participating internships after graduation is as high as 42%, fully demonstrating the specific results of the industry-academia link, creating “employment before graduation”, using internships as a springboard to ensure the best guarantee of employment, and creating a win-win situation for schools, students and industry.

Exclusive Scholarship

Freshmen will be issued a 10-month living grant of NTD 30,000 in the academic year of enrollment, and the rest of the semester must be applied for based on grades, which will be issued for five months.

The dormitory provides

Public facilities: student cafeteria, study area, gymnasium, social hall, water dispenser, washroom, washing machine, dehydrator, drying room, vending machine, dormitory service office.

Dormitory equipment: A total of 890 beds, each dormitory is equipped with a bed, table, chair, telephone, air conditioner, wardrobe and bookshelves, and internet.

Fire Fighting Equipment: Fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, backup generators, monitors.
