Three-school alliance
National Taiwan University of Science and Technology has established a three-university alliance with National Taiwan University and National Taiwan Normal University, and students share the teaching resources of the three universities to study courses across schools to establish a complete learning network, with the goal of becoming the world’s top joint university system.

According to the “2024 Asian University Rankings” by The Times Higher Education Special Issue (THE), NTUST has jumped significantly to 71st place, fourth in Taiwan, maintaining the first place in Taiwan in international outlook projects, and improving its research quality to fourth in Taiwan. In the “2024 World’s Best Young University Rankings”, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology ranked 52nd in the world, ranking second in Taiwan and first in technical and vocational schools. Among them, it continued to rank first in Taiwan in the evaluation index “International Outlook”.
According to the 2024 Asian University Rankings by QS, a British higher education research agency, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology ranks 74th in Asia and fifth in Taiwan. The “International Students” project ranked first in Taiwan and 63rd in Asia.
Teacher-student performance
In 2023, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology won three concept design awards at the Red Dot Design Awards, known as the Oscars of the design industry. At the same time, NTUST has been ranked first in the Asia-Pacific region of the Red Dot Design Rankings for three consecutive years, and its abundant design and innovation capabilities have been internationally recognized.
National Taiwan University of Science and Technology students are popular with companies, and according to Foresight Magazine’s 2024 Corporate Favorite College Student Comprehensive Edition Ranking, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology ranks third in Taiwan.
