Highlights
International Exchange and Cooperation
Since 2001, the university has established “Positioning Globally, Cultivating Globalized Health Care Service Talents” as the school’s guiding principle for promoting international and cross-strait cooperation and development.
In promoting the school’s internationalization efforts, the university has developed five major goals for internationalization:
(1) Internationalization of academic programs;
(2) Internationalization of students’ professional certifications and employment skills;
(3) Internationalization of student origins;
(4) Internationalization of students’ humanistic qualities;
(5) Internationalization of academic research.
Through the formulation of these five major goals, the university actively signs cooperation agreements with international higher education institutions, creating a number of forward-looking international cooperation models in Taiwan, including the International Nursing Dual Bachelor’s Degree Program, the International Early Childhood Education Dual Master’s Degree Program, the International Health Management Dual Degree Program, the International Information Management Dual Bachelor’s Degree Program, the International Exercise and Health Science Bachelor’s Dual Degree Program, and the all-English taught International Nursing and Midwifery Master’s Program, the International Nursing Doctoral Program, the International Montessori Master’s Program, the International Health Technology Master’s Program, and the International Exercise Science Master’s Program.
At the same time, the university cooperates with more than 30 academic or professional institutions abroad to offer international professional courses/international internship courses/exchange study courses/overseas professional volunteer services/international professional certification training and other international practical learning courses, establishing channels for cultivating students’ international professional abilities. Through the establishment of diverse international professional learning channels, the university provides funding and selects approximately 150 students each year to study professional courses abroad.
