—Applicable target: Those who have special performance in school, excellent skills, or have been recommended by teachers.

– Application method: Fill in up to 4 applications and submit review materials according to the regulations of each department.

– Distribution principle: Those who pass the review will be distributed according to “qualified order + volunteer order + quota”;

– Those who are not admitted: Those who are not admitted will be directly distributed jointly and distributed in accordance with the applicable brochures.

Joint Admission

The joint distribution will be based on the enrollment brochure of each overseas Chinese residence and the “Score Calculation and Distribution Operation Rules” to check and convert and distribute the results, and the distribution scores will be distributed according to the distribution scores of the applicants from high to low and their selected volunteers, and the number of places approved by the Ministry of Education.

Independent Admission

In order to expand the enrollment of overseas Chinese students, the Ministry of Education plans diversified enrollment, and each university can recruit overseas compatriot students separately. However, in order to avoid duplicate admissions: those who have been admitted in the first stage of single admission will no longer be distributed by the Overseas JUPAS; Those who have been distributed in the JUPAS are not allowed to participate in the second phase of the single recruitment afterAugust 1 .

This program enhances students’ ability to understand their local environment through the Taichung context and to apply digital technologies to address social and humanities-related issues. It also prepares students to meet future needs in national development, society, and the workplace.

Semiconductor Skills Credit Program (TSMC)

To encourage students in related fields to pursue studies in semiconductors and strengthen their professional technical skills, the university collaborates with TSMC to offer the Semiconductor Skills Credit Program. Students enrolled in the program receive hands on training provided by TSMC. Those who successfully complete the program with outstanding academic performance are eligible for guaranteed interviews when applying for positions at TSMC and may receive differentiated salary and benefits.
