Introduction
NCU, founded in 1915, is one of Taiwan’s leading universities, renowned for its long history, scenic campus, and strong academic reputation. With approximately 12,000 students, NCU emphasizes the development of key competencies, combining innovative teaching with research-driven regional engagement.
The University adopts a student-centered approach, balancing liberal education and professional specialization, and actively promotes international exchange, encouraging students to broaden their global perspectives.
NCU’s 62-hectare campus in Zhongli is located about 30 minutes from Taoyuan International Airport and 40 minutes from Taipei, with convenient access to public transportation, including buses to Zhongli City and the Taoyuan High-Speed Rail Station, and the Taoyuan Airport MRT A21 Huanbei Station.
University System of Taiwan
The University System of Taiwan combines four universities: NCU, NCCU, NTHU, and NYCU. It aims to improve the quality of education and pursue academic excellence. In the face of internationalization and interdisciplinary research competition, it integrates the expertise of the four universities to give play to their complementarity, so as to improve the quality of education and pursue academic excellence.
- Promote cross-school course selection, curriculum sharing, and mutual recognition of credits
- Provide inter-school shuttle buses for cross-school course selection, with 5 daily trips
- The four schools share library resources and provide book borrowing and returning services
- Establish cross-school and interdisciplinary international degree programs to cultivate interdisciplinary domestic and foreign talents
- Promote international service learning to cultivate humanistic care
International Exchange
Currently, there are nearly 330 sister schools around the world. Cooperation projects include dual degree programs, exchange students, and short-term visits, providing diverse channels for our students to have the opportunity to study abroad.
Separate Enrollment
The application period is from November to early December each year; outstanding students can also apply for a special admission scholarship (a total of NTD 40,000 for the first semester).
Academic Tutoring
In response to the needs of students with learning difficulties in professional subjects, we provide individualized academic tutoring and learning consultation services to improve academic learning effectiveness.
