Highlights

High-quality teaching, practice-oriented

UCH is positioned as a “practice-oriented university integrated with industrial development.” Our curriculum is meticulously designed to align with industry needs, emphasizing a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This ensures that students can quickly adapt and seamlessly transition into the professional workforce upon graduation.

International campus, Global Connectivity

The campus is strategically located in the heart of Zhongli, Taoyuan, offering excellent accessibility due to its proximity to Taoyuan International Airport, Taoyuan Railway Station, and the High-Speed Rail (HSR)/MRT systems. UCH actively collaborates with numerous prestigious international universities to provide students with diverse opportunities, including academic exchanges, dual-degree programs, and overseas internships.

Supportive Campus Environment and Comprehensive Guidance

We offer dedicated support services for international students, including personalized tutoring, housing assistance, and specialized Chinese language courses. Furthermore, the university organizes a variety of multicultural activities to help students integrate into life in Taiwan and expand their international networks.

Expert Faculty and Robust Research Capabilities

Our faculty members possess a wealth of experience in both academia and industry. Supported by multiple university-level research centers, UCH actively drives industry-academia collaboration and fosters advanced technological research and development.

Seamlessly connect with industries and encourage employment in Taiwan

Situated in Taiwan’s industrial hub, UCH maintains close partnerships with leading enterprises in fields such as technology, green energy, engineering, business management, and design. These strong connections provide students with abundant internship opportunities and a clear pathway to pursuing a career in Taiwan after graduation.

Our mission is to cultivate students’ ability to understand, analyze, plan, design, and solve problems based on the fundamental theories of information engineering. We foster a spirit of innovation and a commitment to continuous professional development. Students are encouraged to obtain professional IT certifications, develop independent R&D and teamwork skills, and prepare for leadership roles in engineering practice or advanced academic research.

We specialize in training professionals in intelligent control, Internet of Things (IoT) applications, power systems, green energy technology, and satellite communication. The department offers specialized credit programs in Green Energy, Indoor Wiring, Industrial Automation, and IoT Applications. Notably, our “5-year accelerated program” allows students to earn both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees within five years. We also host the only certified training center in the Taoyuan area for indoor wiring and satellite TV

Established in 1964, the department has a long-standing tradition of excellence in cultivating civil engineering professionals. Our alumni hold prominent positions in global engineering sectors, ranging from senior design and construction supervision to site management and professional consultancy. Supported by a faculty of 15 professors with extensive industry experience and national licenses, our curriculum covers:

  • Technology Integration: Since 2009, we have integrated Building Information Modeling (BIM) and dynamic simulation into our courses to prepare students for the demands of smart cities and sustainable engineering.
  • Undergraduate Focus: 3D modeling technology, construction planning, and project management.
  • Specialized Research: The “Spatial Information and Disaster Prevention Research Center” and “3D Spatial Modeling Research Center” drive industry-academia collaboration.

Our goal is to cultivate mechanical engineering professionals with practical expertise in design, analysis, testing, operation, and maintenance. Through a flexible curriculum and Level B certification training (including hydraulics, pneumatics, computer graphics, and CNC milling), students gain the practical skills highly valued by employers and a solid theoretical foundation for future R&D careers.

The curriculum is organized into three core modules: Advanced Vehicles, Intelligent Maintenance, and Green Energy. We aim to educate students to apply mathematics, science, and engineering principles to solve vehicle-related challenges. We focus on professional technical skills, practical planning abilities, and fostering an international outlook with a commitment to professional ethics and lifelong learning.

We cultivate management expertise across functions including production, marketing, R&D, finance, human resources, and information systems. Our curriculum emphasizes “integrated management competencies” essential for career advancement. Key features include a macro perspective on business operations, a strong emphasis on combining theory with practice, and cross-disciplinary course planning.

  • Specialized Curriculum: Includes Smart Manufacturing (IoT), Production & Operations Management, Six Sigma, ISO 9000 Quality Systems, ERP Systems, and Carbon Footprint Inventory in response to net-zero trends.
  • Career Pathways: Preparing future factory and store managers with guidance for professional certifications.

Based on the philosophy of holistic education, we cultivate multimedia professionals with innovative thinking and international perspectives.

  • Facilities & Careers: Our professional labs are authorized testing centers for Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) and ITE certifications. Graduates are well-equipped for roles as web designers, multimedia animators, and system programmers.
  • Core Areas: Digital Learning, Information Security, E-Business, and Intelligent Decision-making.

We focus on marketing planning, digital marketing, smart retail, and logistics management.

  • Sports Marketing Group: A specialized track dedicated to leisure management and sports industry promotion.
  • Practical Learning: The curriculum includes off-campus internships, industry-led teaching, and corporate visits to ensure students are “job-ready” upon graduation.
  • Investment and Wealth Management Group: Focuses on personal and corporate finance, including investment modules and financial planning.
  • Financial Management Group: Trains professionals for the banking, insurance, and trust sectors through modules in financial engineering and institutional management.
  • We actively assist students in obtaining professional licenses from recognized financial authorities to enhance competitiveness.
  • Aviation Marketing Group: Focuses on air passenger/cargo transport, station management, and ticketing services to train ground crew, flight attendants, and logistics professionals.
  • Tourism and Leisure Group: Combines tourism management and leisure recreation to train tour guides, travel agency planners, and resort management professionals.
  • English Group: Focuses on “Professionalism, International Action, and Cross-disciplinary Thinking.” Courses cover business English, tourism, and TESOL, featuring immersive learning with foreign faculty and TOEIC certification guidance.
  • Japanese and Korean Group: Emphasizes “Language Expertise × Cultural Experience × Practical Application.” We offer JLPT/TOPIK tutoring and international exchange opportunities to prepare students for careers in global companies and the tourism sector.

Specializing in “Digital Audio-Visual Creation” and “Digital Music Production,” we emphasize practical learning through industry-academia collaboration. Students gain hands-on experience via project-based learning and off-campus internships, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the digital media industry.

In line with global tourism trends, we cultivate hospitality professionals who possess an international outlook and practical skills. The curriculum covers hospitality services, culinary arts, and administration, featuring a mandatory one-year internship with opportunities in Japan, Singapore, and beyond.

We cultivate business management talents specialized in smart building management, property services, asset management, real estate valuation, and land development, integrating computer-aided management into modern property operations.
