industry-academia cooperation or school-employment integration system
YDU emphasizes linking skills to industry, aiming to enhance students’ employability through industry-academia collaboration and seamless integration with enterprises. In their final year, students participate in off-campus internships, learning by doing to improve learning outcomes and gain a sense of achievement, while opportunities for overseas internships are also promoted.
In addition, through general education courses, students’ cultural cultivation is improved, and it has been upgraded from labor-intensive to cultural and creative bonus types.
Featured courses
【Expert Interdisciplinary Credit Program】
To enhance students’ employability, the university integrates professional courses across colleges and departments and fully promotes interdisciplinary “Expert Credit Programs” to cultivate a second area of expertise. By paying only one tuition fee, students can acquire two or more professional skills and obtain three or more professional certifications. Upon completing the program courses, the college will issue a program certificate—possessing two areas of expertise will become a powerful advantage for students’ future careers.
