Fu Jen Catholic University

Fu Jen Catholic University is located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and is the only Catholic comprehensive university in Taiwan directly under the Holy See. It has 12 colleges including Literature, Arts, Medicine, Communication, Education, Science and Engineering, Foreign Languages, Human Ecology, Textiles and Clothing, Law, Management, and Social Sciences, with 53 departments, 48 master’s programs, 23 executive master’s programs, 12 doctoral programs, 16 extension departments, and 491 sister schools worldwide.

• The Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, and Bachelor’s Program in Medical Informatics and Innovation Application of the College of Science and Engineering of Fu Jen University have passed IEET continuous certification, indicating that their teaching quality, faculty, and equipment have met international standards, and the degrees obtained by students have been internationally recognized, which is helpful for future career development.
  
• The Department of Occupational Therapy has successfully passed the continuing evaluation of the educational curriculum by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT).

Counseling Mechanism Campus Activities

In order to care for Hong Kong students so that they can quickly adapt to local life and study with peace of mind, our school has a special “Overseas Chinese and Mainland Group” to take charge of related counseling matters, including arranging academic counseling, assisting in handling residence and entry-exit matters, club activities, and work-study opportunities. Encourage Hong Kong students to learn the attitudes of democracy, autonomy, responsibility, caring for others, and serving the society through practical participation, develop students’ potential for independent thinking, and promote the extension and learning of activities other than academic work.

In order to encourage and subsidize Hong Kong students with poor economic conditions who are studying at the school, we assist in applying for various scholarships and grants to help you study without burden! In addition, Hong Kong students can not only take out overseas Chinese student safety insurance and national health insurance, but also directly seek medical treatment at the school’s affiliated clinic and hospital, so that Hong Kong students studying at the school can receive medical and injury protection.

Our school gives priority to providing four years of accommodation for overseas Chinese students (including Hong Kong and Macao students). There are restaurants and supermarkets near the dormitory, making life convenient. Overseas Chinese student clubs include the Overseas Chinese Student Association, Hong Kong and Macao Student Association, Malaysian Student Association, Indonesian Student Association, etc.
