College of Engineering and College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science: IEET International Accreditation; graduates’ academic qualifications are recognized by member countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and Singapore. They can also participate in professional engineer examinations in member countries, and obtain licenses to perform professional engineer work. Therefore, CYCU graduates’ job market can be expanded to the world.

Internationalized Learning
International Mobility
Based on the vision of “Bringing CYCU to the world and leading the world to CYCU,” our university creates a good English learning environment, offers all-English courses and degree programs, and holds international lectures, seminars, and international experience camps. Therefore, our students have many international learning opportunities.
Our university has constructed an internationalized learning environment, signing sister school agreements with 401 universities around the world, enabling academic exchanges and R collaborations, international faculty and student visits, exchange students, dual degree programs, international off-site teaching, and domestic and overseas internships. The number of students participating in international mobility programs reaches 1200+ each year.
International Exchange Dual Degree
Our university has collaborations with over 50 schools in 25 countries, including the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Japan, and South Korea, for dual degree and exchange programs. CYCU students can pursue degrees or short-term exchanges at sister schools. During their time at CYCU, students can participate in English enhancement courses, serve as international student buddies or international goodwill ambassadors, and participate in overseas corporate internships during the summer to enhance their international competitiveness.

Guidance counselors, military instructors, and dormitory teachers provide assistance and care through activities such as visa applications, insurance, new student orientation, and cultural tours.

Convenient Campus Life
Food: There are restaurants such as Starbucks and McDonald’s on campus. The campus is adjacent to Zhongyuan Night Market, which offers reasonable prices and many choices.
Clothing: There are countless shops and stalls selling food, clothing, and daily necessities in Zhongyuan Night Market, making shopping convenient.
Accommodation: International students enjoy priority in applying for on-campus dormitories, and there are many safe and affordable off-campus rental options nearby.

Graduated in 2018, majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Finance.
1. Actively participated in club activities during university, serving as a public relations officer for the Overseas Chinese Students Association (OCSA), president of the Indonesian Student Association, and president of the Northern Taiwan Indonesian Student Association. Because of her love for dancing, she also served as the president of the hip-hop dance club. For the annual OCSA cultural exhibition, she not only helped organize the event, but also was responsible for choreographing dances and creating costumes and props.
2. Due to her outstanding academic performance and personal qualities, she was recommended by her advisor and entered an industry-academia cooperation company – Walsin Lihwa Corporation – immediately after graduation. She was quickly promoted to sales representative in less than three years, creating the fastest promotion for a fresh graduate.

— Double Bachelor’s Degree Program in Architecture and Urban Design with Oxford Brookes University, UK
— Chung Yuan Christian University is the only university in Asia that has successfully partnered with Oxford Brookes University (OBU) to offer a degree program in the field of design. It actively cultivates students’ global mobility and cross-border learning abilities, provides various transnational learning opportunities, and opens a new milestone for the internationalization of education.
Course Content
Students take courses at the College of Design of Chung Yuan Christian University for the first two years. The courses combine the academic resources of the four departments of architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, and commercial design, providing all-English instruction. In the last two years, students take courses in the Department of Architecture at Oxford Brookes University (OBU) in the UK, earning a Bachelor of Architecture degree from OBU and the first stage of qualification for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) architect certification.
Employment Program
Chung Yuan Christian University implements the educational philosophy of integrating learning and application, cultivating students’ ability to be employed upon graduation. Currently, there are 63 employment programs, with a total of 84 companies cooperating in the program. The companies take the lead, and the university cooperates to set up a host to jointly plan the curriculum. Students above the third year, graduate students, international students, and alumni within two years of graduation can participate.
30 students from the Topco Scientific Co., Ltd. employment program and 22 students from the ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC. employment program have been employed after graduation. Currently, 180 students have chosen to directly enter the program companies for work and are employed upon graduation.
Industry-Academia Cooperation
Chung Yuan Christian University’s promotion of quantum education originated from Mr. Lin Chien-Nan, Chairman of Formosa Plastics Group and an alumnus of the Department of Chemistry of Chung Yuan Christian University. At the celebration of being awarded the “ITRI Laureate,” he introduced Chair Professor Chang Kuang-Cheng (current Chairman) and Professor Chang Ching-Ray of the Department of Physics of National Taiwan University, and discussed the booming development of quantum computer technology.
Sensing the lack of quantum computer education in Taiwan, Chung Yuan Christian University invited Chair Professor Chang Ching-Ray to join the Chung Yuan Christian University team. Chung Yuan Christian University officially established the Quantum Information Center in early 2022 and invited Chair Professor Chang Ching-Ray to serve as the director of the center. Under his leadership, Chung Yuan Christian University is fully developing in three major areas: quantum technology research, talent cultivation, and popular science education.
Chung Yuan Christian University has 17 professors in 11 fields (including physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, and life sciences) who have been listed as top scientists, and their research strength has been recognized by the world.
On the other hand, in order to build Taiwan’s own quantum computer and quantum communication network system, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Executive Yuan officially established the “Quantum National Team.” Chung Yuan Christian University is honored to be a member of the “Quantum National Team.” Under the leadership of Chair Professor Chang Ching-Ray, it is working with National Taiwan University’s Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Computer Science, Department of Medical Engineering, and Chang Gung University’s Department of Electronic Engineering to conduct cross-school and cross-domain cooperation.
Cultivating quantum technology talents is urgent. In addition to establishing the first “Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Program in Intelligent Computing and Big Data” and the “College of Intelligent Computing and Quantum Information” with quantum computing as the main axis, Chung Yuan Christian University will also integrate the resources of various departments of the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the Department of Physics of the College of Science, and other units to jointly cultivate talents.https://reurl.cc/LMRrEK
Overseas Chinese Student Program
In response to the cultural differences of overseas Chinese students, exclusive courses are offered, including calculus, business mathematics, English, English listening and speaking, language and rhetoric, and life sociology. They are announced at the beginning of each semester and can be selected online, providing the best learning environment without affecting the courses of each department.
