Introduction

Types of Scholarships for New Students
1. Special Scholarship: To encourage outstanding students from all over the world to study at our university, this scholarship is specially established, and the scholarship is up to US$20,000.
2. General Admission Scholarship: Full tuition and miscellaneous fees and full accommodation fees are waived for the first semester (or first academic year).
Types of Scholarships for Current Students
1. Chinese Language Learning Achievement Scholarship: Before the start of each semester, those who have improved their level through the Chinese language proficiency test will be exempted from accommodation fees for that semester. The level of the Chinese language proficiency test shall be based on the certificate issued by the Steering Committee for the Test of Proficiency-Huayu and graded by CEFR (A1, A2, B1…).
2. Wufeng Livelihood Scholarship: Starting from one semester of enrollment, those whose course credits in the previous semester meet the regulations of the university’s academic regulations, whose conduct scores are higher than 80 points, and whose semester average score is above 70 points.

The only Fire Safety Department under the vocational education system in Taiwan
In response to the current and future urgent needs of Taiwanese society for fire safety, the Department of Fire Safety at our university aims to cultivate professional fire safety talents. In addition to excellent teachers and advanced teaching equipment, the Department of Fire Safety also has a wide range of career prospects: civil servants, fire equipment engineers, and enterprise safety and health management personnel. The goal of the department is to cultivate all-round fire safety professionals for employment, certification, and further education.
Nationally Certified Chinese Language Training Class
The professional faculty team of the Chinese Language Center of our university is determined to assist foreign students in learning basic Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the shortest possible time, and plans and implements long- and short-term Chinese language training classes, from short-term intensive classes, regular classes, to customized classes, and even online courses, to meet the needs of different groups. In addition to language teaching, the Chinese Language Center hopes to promote the beauty of Taiwanese culture and promote international cooperation and cross-cultural exchanges.
Industry-Academia Cooperation System and Employment Integration System
Our university is committed to promoting international industry-academia cooperation programs for foreign students, so that students can combine the professional knowledge in the classroom with practical experience to complement each other. So far, our university has established long-term and stable partnerships with about 30 manufacturers, providing many and diverse job opportunities. In order to ensure that students’ financial situation is worry-free during their studies, our university specially offers a full tuition waiver for the first academic year.
