Approximately 20% of the graduates hold leadership positions in various public and private sectors, spread across central and local governments, judicial departments, the investigation and police system, the legal profession, and major accounting firms and financial holding groups, serving as management and key personnel, which is an important advantage and support for the university to promote its school development.

Since 2000, the university has been promoted to a brand-new comprehensive university. For the development of school affairs, SWOT analysis is used to position the university, and four school missions are promoted: “Cultivating students with a global perspective,” “Strengthening the research capacity of teachers,” “Strengthening students’ learning ability,” and “Activating the assets of the Taipei campus.”

Since 2009, the university has continuously received awards from the Ministry of Education’s Teaching Excellence Program, and continues to offer professional and interdisciplinary courses, and exchanges with world-renowned universities. 43% of undergraduate freshmen come from the top 15 high schools in the country, the average enrollment rate for master’s programs is 92.9%, and the average enrollment rate for doctoral programs is 81.6%, making it a desirable goal for students.

In 2011, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of the “Taipei United University System” with National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei Medical University, and National Taiwan Ocean University, which has become an advantage and opportunity for the university to develop its school affairs. The university strengthens the integration of learning and application according to industry needs, and establishes departments according to the human resources and industrial upgrading professional needs of the country and society, focusing on industry-academia cooperation.
