Lunghwa University of Science and Technology

The school was approved for establishment in November 1969. The founder, Mr. Sun Fa-min, and his wife, Madam Sun Chen Shu-chuan, selected the “Huilong Danfeng” area, where dragons and phoenixes dance, with the aim of “Descendants of the Dragon, Glorify Our China” as the school’s purpose, and personally set the school motto of “Diligence, Respect, Sincerity, and Simplicity.” Currently, it has three colleges: the College of Engineering, the College of Management, and the College of Humanities and Design, with fourteen departments and nine master’s programs, making it an applied science and technology university that cultivates high-quality practical talents for the industry and provides innovative technical services.

Based on a pragmatic and practical foundation, the school insists on “Two Nos and Two Yeses”: “Two Nos” – not deliberately pursuing international university rankings, and not aiming to cultivate Nobel Prize winners; “Two Yeses” – students should be widely welcomed by enterprises after graduation, and enterprises should be willing to hire school graduates with higher salaries, and the school should have sufficient scientific research energy to assist the industry in solving problems and transforming and upgrading.
