The E United Group, under the ISU Board of Trustees, encompasses four major business groups: production, healthcare, education, real estate, and leisure. In addition to E United Steel and Yieh Phui Enterprise, which boasts one of the world’s largest stainless steel production volumes, the group also includes E-Da Hospital, E-Da World, and more. With the support of the E United Group, ISU’s curriculum planning and design adheres to the principle of “balancing theory and practice, emphasizing both teaching and experimentation,” making ISU one of the few comprehensive universities in Taiwan that combines theory and practice with industrial development potential.
In addition to the E United Group, ISU’s industry-academia collaboration extends to nearly 550 partners, spanning technology, electronics, hospitals, steel, and service industries such as catering, department stores, and hotels. The curriculum content closely aligns with industry needs.
Teaching Excellence, Internationally Accredited
In 2016, the College of Management, the International College, and the College of Tourism and Hospitality passed the AACSB international business education accreditation, making it the only university in the world to have 3 colleges accredited simultaneously.
All courses taught in English, internationalized campus
ISU demonstrates outstanding achievement in internationalization and global exchange. According to the 2017 Cheers Magazine ranking on the presence of international degree-seeking students, the University ranked second nationwide. International students from nearly 50 countries study on campus, with one out of every ten students coming from abroad, creating a vibrant international learning environment that fosters diverse perspectives and a global outlook.
In addition, students may apply for the Xuehai and Xuewen scholarships to participate in overseas study programs, or engage in exchange studies or degree programs at partner universities worldwide.

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

4 years at ISU + 1 year at Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Master’s) = ISU Bachelor’s + Hong Kong Polytechnic Master’s
