Introduction
NTHU has the College of Science, College of Engineering, College of Nuclear Science, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Life Science and Medicine, College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, College of Technology Management, Tsing Hua College, Chu-Shih College of Education, College of Arts, Taipei School of Economics and Political Science and College of Semiconductor Research. It is a higher education institution with balanced development in liberal arts and science and engineering.
The teaching and research capabilities of faculty and students have been recognized in many domestic and international evaluations and competitions. Many alumni shine in various industries in Taiwan, including three Nobel Prize winners, including Academician Yuan-Tseh Lee. According to the 2023 QS University Rankings, the university ranks 177th in the world and is a highly representative and outstanding university in Taiwan.

Graduate Path
Tsing Hua has cultivated more than 60,000 graduates who have entered society, contributing what they have learned in various industries with outstanding performance. Three graduates have won the Nobel Prize, and 17 are Academicians of the Academia Sinica. There are countless leaders in industry-academia research. After graduation, students can find satisfactory jobs and contribute their expertise.

Highlights
A university with balanced development in liberal arts, science, and engineering
In the early days of its re-establishment, NTHU focused on nuclear science, and then expanded to science and engineering. In the past ten years, it has actively developed humanities and social sciences, life sciences, electrical engineering and information technology, and technology management. Since November 1, 2016, National Tsing Hua University and National Hsinchu University of Education merged into “National Tsing Hua University”, adding Chu-Shih College of Education and College of Arts. Gradually, Tsing Hua has become a university with balanced development in liberal arts, science, and engineering.
Interdisciplinary learning
As learning trends change, learning becomes highly customized and individualized, and everyone’s learning field and pace are different. In order to provide students with more flexibility in course selection and opportunities for interdisciplinary learning, and to encourage students to learn independently, students can apply for interdisciplinary learning/customized programs or experimental education programs after enrollment. University System of Taiwan
The university, together with National Central University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and National Chengchi University, jointly established the “University System of Taiwan” to carry out a number of inter-school cooperation and exchanges, share teaching resources with each other, and students can not only take courses across schools, but also use the libraries and other related facilities of the four schools.
