Introduction
The school was approved for establishment in the 54th year of the Republic of China, restructured into a technical college in the 88th year of the Republic of China, and renamed Jianguo University of Science and Technology in the 93rd year of the Republic of China. Our school is located at the foot of Bagua Mountain in Changhua County, central Taiwan, which is the intersection of Taiwan’s railway mountain line and sea line, and there are many industrial zones in the territory.
Since its name was changed to University of Science and Technology, the school has been positioned as a “professional teaching and applied science and technology university”, based on the three forces (academic ability, strength, and willingness), and aims to cultivate “talents that small and medium-sized enterprises are willing to use with both skills and morality, hands and brains, and five educations”. The medium- and long-term school affairs development structure is based on vitality, quality, excellence, and characteristics as the phased school-running policies, and the development of “health, green energy, and intelligence” is the core feature, combined with the operation and development resources of small and medium-sized enterprises, to drive the development of regional small and medium-sized enterprises.

Core features: The school has set “health, green energy, and intelligence” as the core features of development, and has added artificial intelligence as the core since the 107th academic year to implement the establishment of core features. The industries derived from it will promote human development momentum, thereby improving the quality of human life and the environment.

Located in Changhua City, Changhua County, about 10 minutes from Changhua Railway Station, 20 minutes from Taichung High Speed Rail Station, you can take a bus to the school, there is a public bicycle YouBike, convenient transportation near the city, and excellent living functions.

1. Health industry: Taiwan has entered an aging society, and the health industry in a broad sense includes the medical care industry, biomedical industry, biotechnology industry, and knowledge economy industry, etc., and the knowledge economy industry covers beauty and health care, health food, leisure tourism, health care… etc., which is in line with the development of the school’s departments of beauty, tourism, transportation and rest.
2. Green energy industry: The green energy industry is one of the six emerging industries promoted by the Executive Yuan, and the green energy industry has established seven key industries for green energy in Taiwan, including (1) photovoltaics, (2) LED lighting photovoltaics, (3) wind power generation, (4) biofuels, (5) hydrogen energy and fuel cells, (6) energy information and communication, and (7) electric vehicles.
3. Automation (intelligent) industry: The integration and application of automation systems has become the best competitive advantage for enterprises, and it is an automation technology support industry for other industries, and there is still a lot of room for development in the domestic automation industry in the future; In recent years, the government has been committed to promoting “Productivity 4.0” in the face of Germany’s “Industry 4.0” and using intelligent robots to link the Internet of Things and big data technology to transform Taiwan’s industries.
