Campus address

Located in Chiayi County, about 250 kilometers from Taipei, it is a research-oriented comprehensive university established in 1989 to balance the gap between higher education in southern and northern Taiwan.

International certifications

The School of Management has been accredited by the Association for the Advancement of International Business Schools (AACSB) and is among the top 5% of accredited schools in the world. The School of Engineering has been accredited by the Chinese Society for Engineering Education (IEET) and has won the championship and runner-up of the IEEE International Microwave Conference for seven consecutive years

Member of the National Taiwan University System

Our university and three other universities, including National Cheng Kung University, Sun Yat-sen University, and Chung Hsing University, have jointly formed the “Taiwan Comprehensive University System” alliance to cooperate and compete with each other through academic exchanges, inter-university course selection, mutual recognition of credits, and joint establishment of research centers to promote the development of academics, school affairs, and research fields.

Chung Cheng University Exclusive Scholarship for Hong Kong Students

The University has established the “Hui Sun Memorial Scholarship” for Hong Kong students, which aims to encourage outstanding Hong Kong students to pursue degrees at the University and deepen their research in Chinese literature, history, philosophy and other fields.

Eligibility: Students who have Hong Kong permanent resident status and are enrolled in the school in accordance with the Hong Kong Residents’ Regulations for Studying in Taiwan and are studying for a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree; Priority is given to students from the three departments of Chinese literature, history, and philosophy, and if there are extra places, they will also be open to other departments; Outstanding poor students who submit proof of family income from the previous year can be listed as priority recipients.

Write regulations and policies on continuing education in Macau

Macao

After returning to Macao, he worked in the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, responsible for drafting Macao’s continuing education regulations and policies, and assisting in the promotion of the Continuing Education Development Plan.

Currently, it focuses on Portuguese cuisine at Tomato House, and actively promotes community care activities in Macau with the concept of Taiwanese community education, delivering food to the disadvantaged groups for many years, promoting Macao’s human touch, and currently has four branches in Macau, which have been repeatedly recognized by the Macao Government Tourism Office.

Graduated from the Department of Psychology of Chung Cheng University, he founded Macau Rencheng Medical Center, Macau Yuanbo Psychological Education Center, Macau Spiritual Culture Co., Ltd., and Zhuhai Hengqin Yuanbo Psychological Counseling Co., Ltd.

He is currently a certified psychoanalyst of the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP), a registered psychotherapist and Chinese medicine practitioner in Macau, and serves as the president of the Macau Psychoanalytic Association and the chairman of the Macau Chinese Health and Wellness Association.

Malaysia

After graduating from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Chung Cheng University, he received his Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and conducted postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute in Germany.

He specializes in computational fluid mechanics and heat transfer, and works closely with industry for scientific research.

Executive Editor of the Chinese News and Current Affairs Group of “Octave Space” and “NTV7”

Malaysia

In 2001, he graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages of National Chung Cheng University, and in 2002, he joined the Malaysian private TV station NTV7, where he was responsible for the interview and tracking report of the current affairs program “Tracking Files”, and in 2005, his work “Secret Society” was also shortlisted for the “Best TV Magazine Award” at the SERI ANGKASA Awards Ceremony of the National Information Bureau.

He was the head of Chinese news and current affairs at NTV7, and is currently the executive editor of the Chinese news and current affairs team of “Octave Space” and “NTV7”, a channel of Malaysia’s largest local TVB group.

Highlights


The campus environment is spacious and beautiful

It is a national green demonstration university and has won the “Yahoo! Qimo” voted the first place in Taiwan’s most beautiful university, the campus building was planned by Taipei 101 Building architect Li Zuyuan and others, covering an area of 130 hectares, full of flowers and green grass all year round, and was the filming location for the TV series “Meteor Garden” and the movie “KANO”.

It is different from Hong Kong and Macau universities

respect academic freedom and diverse values, and provide a healthy academic fertile ground for teachers and students to play to their heart’s content. After the Sunflower Movement in 2014, in order to promote the concept of adhering to academic freedom, the “Academic Freedom Monument” was set up on the turf of the School of Social Sciences on campus, hoping to remind intellectuals of their responsibility for social reform.

National Chung Cheng University Huishen Memorial Scholarship for Hong Kong students
